CTX 3030 Instruction Manual
Location Format
The Location Format provides the conversion of latitude and longitude coordinates.
There are two available options:
D.MS – Degrees°minuteseconds” (e.g. 40° 45´ 3.6” N 73° 59´ 0.24” W)
D.M – Degrees°minute.decimal’ (e.g. 40° 45.06 , -73° 59.004’)
GPS Time Sync
GPS Time Sync sets the time based on information from the GPS. Before this setting
can be used, GPS must be enabled and the Time Zone must be set.
Locality Settings
The Locality menu will be displayed with the following options:
Set Time
Time Zone
Time Format
Units
Set Time
Set Time allows you to change or set the current time. This option is only available if
GPS Time Sync is not selected.
Time Zone
Time Zone is based on Universal Coordinated Time (UTC), and options range from
UTC - 01:30 to UTC + 12:00.
Time Format
Time Format options are 12 and 24 hours.
Units
Units can be congured to yards or meters and represent units of measure for
depth, maps and navigation.
Backlight Settings
Brightness
Backlight brightness can be set in single increments ranging from 1 to 10.
Backlight
The Backlight settings are only available when the Backlight is not controlled by the
user buttons.
