Safety Instructions
The following guidelines should be observed to avoid safety accidents and
malfunctions that could be caused by incorrect operation of the machine.
1. For safety purpose, read this manual carefully and observe the safety labels on the system. For
further information, see the maintenance manual.
2. Find out where ‘Emergency Switch’ is; activate the switch in case of emergency.
3. Do not work with wet hands. Electric shock could occur.
4. Open the cover after unplugging unit from power source.
5. Do not operate the system after shifting the door safety sensor manually, Manual control of the
safety sensor can cause malfunction.
6. Check all safety instructions when reactivate the system. Pay extra attention when two or more
persons operating the machine at once.
7. Do not allow water or oil to get into electrical parts (VME rack, Power Box, Amp, PC, boards, etc.)
8. Unplug the machine when replacing electric parts, sensors or solenoid valves.
9. Unplug the machine as removing connectors.
10. Follow recommended operating conditions (ambient temperature, humidity, power, pneumatic
pressure, etc.)
11. Keep away from flammable gases, contaminants or excessive dust.
12. Do not put hands, head or other body parts into the system during operation.
13. Do not use the PC connected to the system for applications other than running the system. The
computer could be infected by external viruses.
14. The system should be operated only by personnel who completed the regular system operation
training program.
15. The system should be maintained only by personnel who completed Mirae Corporation’s
maintenance program or an equivalent program.
16. Contact service personnel regarding other topics not described in the manual.
17. Make sure to observe the manual when working with the machine.
