System Overview
1. Ensure that the Mitel SMBC is disconnected from the power supply.
2. Remove the housing cover.
3. Connect the earthing wire on the ground terminal of the bottom plate.
4. Assemble interface cards (if any):
• Fit interface cards into the IC1...IC4 slots.
• Fit the corresponding wiring adapters into the WA1...WA4 sockets. Consider the imprint on the
adapters for the plug-in orientation.
5. Assemble DSP modules if any:
• Fit the DSP modules into the corresponding slot on the mainboard.
• A maximum of three DSP modules can be stacked.
6. Fit the housing cover.
7. Connect the LAN cable to the Eth0 LAN interface on the front panel.
Note:
It is important to use the Eth0 interface, as the other LAN interfaces wont work.
