If a connected device or sub-network is wreaking havoc on the rest of the network, the Disable
option under Advanced Settings/Port gives the administrator a quick way to shut off access
through this port immediately.

Choose one of these fixed speed options if the
connected Ethernet device has trouble
auto-negotiating for line speed.
Auto
FDX Flow Ctrl
This setting enables or disables flow control for the port when the port’s Speed is set to Auto. The
final result will be determined by the Auto process between the TN-5500 and connected devices.

Enable This enables flow control for this port when the
port’s Speed is set to Auto.
Disable This disables flow control for this port when the
port’s Speed is not set to Auto.
