Use a dropper to moisten the cleaning wiper with maintenance
cleaner.
• Amount used: 5.0 ml
Note
Do NOT use the maintenance cleaner in the plastic cup that the cleaning stick
is submerged.

Use the cleaning stick to clean around the rubber part of the capping
unit to remove the ink deposits and dust.

Check that the capping unit and the area around are clean.

Use the dropper to moisten the absorber of the capping unit with
maintenance cleaner.
• Amount used: 1.5 ml
Do NOT use the maintenance cleaner in the plastic cup that the cleaning stick
is submerged.

Moisten the lint-free cloth with maintenance cleaner and clean the air
valve surface to remove the ink deposits.
Note
Wear vinyl groves to avoid contact with maintenance cleaner.

• Standard cleaning time should be within 5 minutes.
• If maintenance is likely to take more than 5 minutes, suspend it and perform head cleaning before resuming the maintenance.
