Important!
When performing daily maintenance, check the points below:
• Do not touch the cleaning wiper and the capping unit with your hands.
If oil from your hands gets on those parts, this cleaning may not be performed properly.
• Do not touch the print head surface with fingers or a cleaning stick.
It can cause damage to the print head.
• Always use a cleaning stick dampened with the dedicated maintenance cleaner in the plastic cup.
DO NOT use non-dedicated maintenance cleaner. It may cause nozzle clogging.
• DO NOT touch the tip of the cleaning sticks with your finger.
If finger oil gets on the stick, it will damage the print head.
1. How to clean the flushing-box sponge

Use the dropper to moisten the flushing-box sponge with
maintenance cleaner.
• Amount used: 3.0 ml
Note
Do NOT use the maintenance cleaner in the plastic cup that the cleaning stick
is submerged.

Prepare a cleaning stick for cleaning the flushing-box sponge.
Important!
The cleaning stick can be used for 1 week.
Change the cleaning stick once a week, or when the ink on the stick
cannot be removed.

Use the cleaning stick to clean the whole area of sponge.
