What to do if I am unable to access the NETGEAR Firewall's web management interface?

If you're having trouble accessing the web management interface, here are a few things to try: * Check the Ethernet connection between your computer and the VPN firewall. * Ensure your computer's IP address is on the same subnet as the VPN firewall; if using the recommended addressing scheme, your computer's address should be in the 169.254.x.x range. * If the firewall's IP address has been changed and you don't know it, reset the firewall to factory defaults. * Use the SSL https://address login instead of the http://address login. * Enable Java, JavaScript, or ActiveX in your browser. * Restart your browser. * Verify you're using the correct login information (default is admin for username and password for password).
