Figure 99 shows the 7360 ISAM FX-12 earth bonding point location.
Warning — Risk of damage to equipment with ESD sensitive
devices.
Most cards and powered equipment contain devices that are
susceptible to ESD. ESD could damage these or other devices
in unconnected circuit conditions.
Carefully follow these rules when handling ESD sensitive
cards:
• transport and store cards in ESD protective bags or boxes
• make sure to wear a grounded wrist strap before handling
• connect the wrist strap to the earth bonding point at the
bottom of the shelf; it carries the label shown in Figure 99
• test the ESD wrist strap with the ohmmeter to ensure
effectiveness; it must measure 1 MΩ +/-20% to ground
• do not touch circuit traces or components on the card
• handle cards at the front and side edges only
