is not too great in relation to the declared
detection threshold.

Ensure that the initial volume was correct.

compartment is correct (an increase in the
temperature expands the liquid and falsifies
measurement of the volume or evaporates
light distillate samples).
Verify the final residue.
Verify the leak tightness of the connection
stopper between the flask and silicone tube.
Verify the presence and efficacy of the
diaphragm on the test tube neck (case of
light distillate products).
The test tube has been cleaned and dried
before charging in the flask (error on drips
remaining in the test tube).
Poor calibration with a liquid generating a
convex meniscus (verify with level detector
on the sample).
