4.3.2 Commissioning a new sample temperature probe
When commissioning a new sample temperature probe, it is necessary to verify the position of the
ring which detects correct positioning of the probe on the flask.
Place the centering stopper on the probe and place the whole assembly on the neck of the
flask (1).
Lower the probe to place the sensitive part of the probe perpendicular to the flask tapping
point (2).
Lock it in this position by turning the knurled ring of the centering stopper.
Place the flask with its centering stopper and its probe in the heating block and adjust height
of the probe ring so the detector is in the lower position when the assembly is in the final
position (centering stopper engaged in the flask neck). (3).
4.4 The Pt 100 temperature probes internal to the instrument
The condenser tube, test tube compartment and the ambient temperature probes fall into this
category.
It is not possible to create or delete a calibration for these probes.
The calibration procedure is identical to that for the sample probe (see above).
The probes are integral to the instrument, and calibration can be performed exclusively by
simulation.
NB: The error introduced by the sensor remains acceptable for these temperature measurements.
