Resetting the phone
You use this feature to reset the phone without unplugging the power
cable. To reset the IP Phone 1140E, press the Services fixed key or the
Servcs Context-sensitive soft key, select System, and select Reset
Phone from the menu.
To reset the IP Phone 1140E:
Erasing user data
The IP Phone 1140E stores user files that you may eventually want to
delete. These user data files are created or downloaded. These include:
abc
1. Press the abc/123 Context-sensitive soft
key to toggle between alphabetic or
numeric input.
2. Use the dialpad to enter your password.
Ok

3. Press the Ok Context-sensitive soft key.
or
Press the Back Context-sensitive soft
key to return to the previous menu.
Yes

The phone prompts you with “Reset Phone?”
4. Press the Yes Context-sensitive soft key
to proceed.
or
Press the No Context-sensitive soft key
to return to the System menu.
