Note 18: This table includes examples that are based on dividing the
commands into functional groups. The four groups are: System
Administration (priority 3), Maintenance (priority 2), General Use
(priority 1), and Nortel field service personnel only (Priority 3).
Note 19: Priorities of firmware commands (i.e., DISK and DOS) cannot
be modified.
To assign or change the access priority level of a command, enter the
following at the maintenance terminal:
>MPRI C cmd p (cr)
where: C - command argument
cmd - command
p - priority level (1, 2, or 3).
The system responds as shown below:
COMMAND PRIORITY IS x
where: x - new command priority number assigned.
To display a priority currently assigned to specific commands, enter the
following at the maintenance terminal:
>MPRI E cmd (cr)
where: E - examine/display command argument
cmd - command to be examined.
The system responds as shown below:
COMMAND PRIORITY IS x
Note 20: Use the SITDAT WRITE and LINIT commands to save any
changes and send the new value to the CP.
Automatic Logoff
The Set Terminal Timeout (SETTERM TIMEOUT) command is used to
examine or assign the length of time that no activity can take place on a
terminal before the BMC performs an automatic logoff of that terminal.
To display the terminal time-out value, enter the following at the maintenance
terminal:
>SETTERM TIMEOUT (cr)
