where:
xx - modem line control type; HD - Half Duplex or FD - Full Duplex.
The system responds as follows:
LINE CONTROL SET TO xxxx DUPLEX
Note: Follow this command with the SITDAT WRITE and LINIT
commands to make the change permanent and update the CP with the new
values.
CP EXAMINE
CP EXAMINE, a maintenance command, allows users to examine the
contents of CP memory.
Example of command usage
Enter the following command to examine the contents of CP memory:
>CP EXAMINE mem_addr numb_of_lines (cr)
where:
mem_addr- memory address (Range: 0-1FFFF for 128K systems;
0-3FFFF for 256K systems; and 0-7FFFF for 512K
systems)
numb_of_lines- number of lines of data desired starting at address "x",
with each line containing sixteen bytes (Range: 1-16).
The system displays the requested data.
Note 7: If a range is not specified for numb_of_lines, system defaults to
a value of '1'.
Note 8: This command should only be used under the direct supervision
of technical support personnel.
CP INTERFACE
CP INTERFACE, a site data command, allows users to examine or change the
type of interface used in polling for a specific link. If the interface is set to
RS232, BMC uses the RS-232 interface for its polling port. If the interface is
set to V35, BMC uses the V.35 interface for its polling port.
