What to do if debugger cannot connect to core on NXP Semiconductors PN76?

If you're having trouble connecting the debugger to the core, there could be several reasons. First, ensure that the power supply is sufficient. Also, verify that the PN76xx is not in reset (check VEN), in mass-storage mode, or deep-sleep. If OpenSDA is enabled on the development board, the NFC-DEBUG "J21" might not be operational due to resoldered resistors.
