Always use cold water in the wash water system.
To turn on the wash water system during the resurfacing operation, depress the Wash Water
switch. The water begins to ow. After 10 seconds, the wash water pump begins to vacuum up
the water.
¾ of the lap prior to completion of resurfacing, turn o the wash water, lift the Wash Water
switch to the O position. Both the water ow and the pump turn o at the same time.
By turning the wash water o ¾ of the lap before completion, any water trapped between the
blade, squeegee and runners will be used up and this will prevent pooling of any water at the
gate once the conditioner is raised.
The lter basket for the wash water is located in the top of the wash water tank, to the right
of the driver and can be easily accessed.
Fill the water tanks with enough water to do a complete resurfacing job. Any water still
remaining in the tanks at the end of the day should be drained completely, to prevent a build-
up of scale.
