8.2 Maintenance Checks
Failure to carry out the basic maintenance checks can lead to damage and downtime as
well as possible personal injury.
8.2.1 Daily
• Carry out circle check as described in section 5.8.
• Recharge the battery (if necessary).
• Inspect all safety switches.
• If your ice resurfacer is equipped with an edger, inspect all the components.
8.2.2 Every Time the Blade is changed or Weekly
The procedure for changing the blade is described in Chapter 6.3.
• Re- grease the blade bolts.
• Lubricate the horizontal auger drive chain.
• Lightly oil bottom side of blade holder system.
• Grease blade holder pivots.
• Grease horizontal auger bearings.
• Grease conditioner lift arms.
• Grease conditioner mounting pins.
