Detergent solution for Washer-Disinfector
• Use a low-foaming, medical-grade, alkaline enzymatic detergent (20 –
55°C, <pH 10.8).
• Use a detergent whose compatibility for cleaning accessories is certified
by the WD’s manufacturer, and which are approved by a competent
authority. Follow the instructions provided by the detergent
manufacturer.
• The detergent shown in Table 6.6 was used for validation.
Neutralizer
If rinsing with neutralizers after cleaning/disinfection is
necessary, make sure to remove all traces of neutralizers by
using the water as described in the instruction manual for
WD.
• Use neutralizers recommended in the instruction manuals for the WD
and detergent.
• Follow the instructions provided by the neutralizer manufacturer
regarding concentration, temperature, contact time and expiration date.
