HIGH FLOW INSUFFLATION UNIT UHI-4
Reprocessing Insufflation Tube (MAJ-590) and Suction Tube
(MAJ-591) using a WD
Follow the workflow described in Section 6.11, “Reprocessing workflow for High
Flow Insufflation Unit (UHI-4) and accessories” when reprocessing Insufflation
Tube and Suction Tube with a WD.
Be sure to attach all required connectors to the Insufflation Tube and Suction
Tube. For details concerning appropriate connectors, refer to the instructions of
the WD manufacturer.
Disassemble the tube before loading it into the WD.
If it is not disassembled, the cleaning liquid will not come into
sufficient contact with the surface of the tube, and as a result,
the cleaning effect may not be obtained.
Make sure that the insufflation tube (MAJ-590) and suction
tube (MAJ-591) are firmly attached to the accessories of the
WD. Make sure that the tubes are not in contact with each
other.
Do not overload WD. Sufficient cleaning effect cannot be
obtained.
Lumens must be connected to the WD so that they will be
rinsed through and all inner and outer surfaces come in
contact with chemicals.
Washer-Disinfector
For the information concerning the details of the reprocessing steps
required before putting accessories into WD, please refer to the instruction
manual for WD and chemicals.
Dry the accessories
Refer to “m Dry the Insufflation Tube (MAJ-590) and Suction Tube (MAJ-
591)” as the procedure is same.
