Chapter 3 Installation and Connection
HIGH FLOW INSUFFLATION UNIT UHI-4
Connecting the UES-40 or the SonoSurg-G2
1. Prepare the adapter for UHI-2/3, the communication cable (MAJ-1872 or
MAJ-1942 or MAJ-1948) and the gender changer (Sanwasupply D25S-MF)
or the extension cable for aeration (MAJ-1424).
2. Connect the system plug of the converter adapter for UHI-2/3 to the system
connector on the rear panel of the UES-40/SonoSurg-G2 by means of the
gender changer or the extension cable for aeration (see Figure 3.11).
3. Connect the plug of the communication cable to the LINK-IN or LINK-OUT
terminal of the adapter for UHI-2/3. After connection, secure each plug by
pushing it in while turning the screws on both sides of the plug (see Figure
3.11).
4. Connect the other plug of the communication cable that has been
connected to the adapter for UHI-2/3 to the LINK-IN or LINK-OUT terminal
of the high flow insufflation unit. After connection, secure each plug by
pushing it in while turning the screws on both sides of the plug (see Figure
3.11).
When using the gender changer, prepare following
recommendation products.
