Parking
Brakes
1. Check brakes by moving HET
Tractor approximately 60 ft. (18.3
m) and steadily apply brake
pedal. HET Tractor should stop
smoothly without noticeable side
pull or vibration.
Service
brakes do
not operate
properly.
2. With HET Tractor stopped and
range selector in gear, release
brake pedal. Brakes should
release immediately and allow
HET Tractor to roll forward.
Service
brakes do
not operate
properly.
3. Check parking brake while HET
Tractor is still stopped; apply
PARKING BRAKE control (1)
with transmission still in 2-5 and
engine at idle. HET Tractor
should not move.
HET Tractor
moves with
parking
