Concerning the programmable inputs number 1 to 7: these inputs can be assigned to functions and operate
some components of the combiner (some of which are optional). See the next paragraph, “Configuration
software”, to learn more about these functions.
In order to perform the mapping of a function with a programmable pin, send the software command “IO” to
the combiner. For example, send the command “IO 15 5” to map the function “LCX shutter #1” on pin
number 15 (programmable input number 7).
4-4 Configuration software
Oxxius Combiner Configurator (“OCC”) is a tool meant to configure the components of a combiner, accessible
from the USB memory stick delivered along the combiner.
RUNNING THE CONTROL PROGRAM
OCC requires a direct link to the combiner, such as the USB link. Please close any program communicating
with the combiner before attempting to launch OCC.
On start-up, OCC attempts to auto-detect the combiner. If successful, the main window should look as in the
following figure.
