Configure the settings relating to images and
audio [Image/Audio]
The settings relating to JPEG, H.264 and MPEG-4 images such as the settings of image quality, audio, etc. can be
configured on this page.
The "Image/Audio" page has 4 tabs; the [JPEG/H.264] tab (or [JPEG/MPEG-4] tab), the [Image quality] tab and the
[Audio] tab.
Configure the settings relating to the aspect ratio [JPEG/H.264]
Click the [JPEG/H.264] tab on the "Image/Audio" page. (☞Pages24and25:Howtodisplay/operatethesetup
menu)
[Aspect ratio]
Select"4:3"or"16:9"fortheaspectratio.
Default:4:3
Note:
 • Theotheri-PROseriesproductsdonotsupportthe
aspectratioof"16:9"unlessotherwisestated.

 • Aspectratioof16:9isunavailablefortheMPEG-4
images.
 • Whenselecting"16:9"for"Aspectratio","H.264"is
automatically set for "Video encoding format".
 • Imageadjustmentfunctionsareactivatedforthe
angleofviewintheaspectratioof4:3evenwhile
"16:9"isbeingselectedfor"Aspectratio".When
setting the mask area for the back light compensa-
tion (BLC) function, it is recommended to configure
thesettingafterselecting"4:3"for"Aspectratio".
 • When"On"isselectedfor"VIQS"andthesetting
valuefor"Aspectratio"ischangedfrom"4:3"to
"16:9",makesurethattheVIQSsettingvaluedoes
not exceed the maximum designated range.
■ JPEG
Configure the settings such as "Refresh interval
(JPEG)*", "Image capture size" and "Image quality" on
this section. Refer to page 47 and 51 for further infor-
mation about the settings relating to H.264 (or MPEG-4)
images.
"Live" page (Initial display)
Configure the settings relating to the JPEG images dis-
played on the "Live" page.
[Refresh interval (JPEG)*]
Select an interval to refresh the displayed JPEG image
from the following.
0.1fps/ 0.2fps/ 0.33fps/ 0.5fps/ 1fps/ 2fps/ 3fps/ 5fps/
6fps*/ 10fps*/ 12fps* (PAL only)/ 15fps*/ 30fps*
Default: 5fps
Note:
 • When"On"isselectedfor"H.264transmission"(or
"MPEG-4 transmission"), the refresh interval may be
longer than the set value when any value with an
asterisk (*) on the right is selected.
