13.05.04 Neutral position of the main feed dog
Requirement
When the stitch length is set at "0", there should be no feeding motion of the main feed
dog 7.
● Unscrew screw 1 (nut 2) (stitch length limitation deactivated).
● With adjustment lever 3 set stitch length to "0".
● Loosen screw 4 to such an extent that crank 5 can be moved on the shaft with difficulty.
● While turning the balance wheel continuously, adjust crank 5, so that crank 6 does not
move.
● Tighten screw 4.
Screw 1 (nut 2) remains loosened for further adjustments.
(Stitch length limitation is still deactivated).
