13.05.23 Final adjustment of the needle height
Requirement
When the point of the looper advancing from the right reaches the left side of the needle, the
top edge of the needle eye must be 1.0 - 1.2 mm below the bottom edge of the looper.
● Turn the handwheel until the point of the looper, coming from the right hand side, reaches
the left hand side of the needle.
● Move the needle bar 1 (screws 2) without turning it according to the requirement.
● Check the distance of the looper from the needle in the direction of sewing in accordance
with Chapter 13.05.20 Distance of the looper from the needle in sewing direction, and
adjust if necessary.
