8.14 INTERBUS: master diagnostic parameter register
The diagnostic parameter register provides additional information on an error indicated in
the master diagnostic status register (see Section 8.13).
The following information is stored in the master diagnostic parameter register:

The master diagnostic parameter register is rewritten whenever a malfunction occurs. If no
malfunction has been detected, the master diagnostic parameter register contains the value
0.
Special case:
If an INTERBUS local bus error cannot be located, the value 128 is indicated in the master
diagnostic parameter register (i.e., bit 7 is set).

Remedy:
Always assign just one process data item to each in-
put/output address.
