n The metering pump may generate a multiple of its nominal
pressure. Hydraulic parts may rupture if a pressure line is
blocked.
n Install a relief valve in the pressure line downstream of the
metering pump.

An unsuitable feed chemical can damage the parts
of the pump that come into contact with the chem‐
ical.
– Take into account the resistance of the wetted
materials and the ProMinent Resistance List
when selecting the feed chemical - see the

nent.
