Customizing Your Impression
You can choose from a variety of Impression types to complete your Job Runs as needed.
You can select a Standard Impression to print postage, a “Received” Impression to print
the date on Incoming Mail, or to seal envelopes that have already include a Meter
Impression.
For each Meter Impression you create, your Mailing System will display the Impression
Options you have selected on your Screen.
Home Screen and Configuration Menu
Each type of Meter Impression available on your system is associated to:

A specific Home Screen that displays the current Impression configuration (weight,
postage...)
•
An Impression Configuration Menu that allows you to add, view, edit, or delete an
Impression configuration.
To save time your system has 4 Shortcut Keys for direct access.
By using Shortcuts you can eliminate key strokes needed to:
• Select a Postage Rate .
• Choose a Weighing Mode.
• Select an Impression memory.
• Add or check your Postage Funds.
Parameters of the Type of Impression
The table below provides details on the types of Meter Impressions you can choose,
depending on the type of job you want to run.
If you don not set up any option, the Mailing System will use your Default Impression
Settings to complete the impression set-up.
