6-character alphanumeric variables AIx can be used as application identifiers. 
All the rest of variables are variants of other variables present in the program 
formatted to EAN128 standard requirements. Additionally all variables of 
general destination can be used in this code e.g. printouts, codes, V variables.

21.6. Operating with barcode scanners 
 
Balance enables cooperation with bar code scanner. Scanner is used for fast 
searching and loading the assortment from assortments base (Start 1, Length 
1).  
Parameters “Start 1 and Length 1” are to determine quantity of signs from code 
designed for placing in “Code 1 buffer” Draw. 32  
Parameters “Start 2 and Length 2” are to determine quantity of signs from code 
designed for placing in “Code 2 buffer” Draw. 32  
 
Proceeding: 
 
1. While in “Weighing” mode enter balance menu  (F key), choose submenu P9 
“Other” and enter “Scanner Set.” 
2. Read the bar code with scanner 
3. Display will indicate value of read code draw. 32
