Install the fusing unit with replaced components
and close the front doors.
From the Adjustment Settings for Skilled Operators
menu, select the registered fusing unit number.
Check the counter values for the selected
fusin
g
unit to be installed.
Is the Web Cleaning Unit to be
replaced brand new?
Check that the page counter data is reflected to
the Adjustment Settings for Skilled Operators
menu.
Write down the current counter values for the items below.
z Web Cleaning:Distance Counter
z Web Cleaning:Pg Counter
z Web Total:Page Counter
Skip this procedure if the component to be replaced is brand new.
Open the front doors. (Leave the doors open to prevent the
system from activating.)
Manually input the counter values into the SP accordingly
with the fuser unit number. (See the next page.)
