When you select a destination that has a registered SEP Code from the Address Book, if “SEP
Code Reception” is set to off, the SEP Code is not appended and transmission is in standard fax
mode.
1. Press [TX Mode].
2. Select [Option Setting].
3. Press [SEP Code Reception] to highlight it.
To cancel SEP Code Reception, press [SEP Code Reception] again.
4. Press [OK] twice.
5. Specify the destination, and then press the [Start] key.

To register SEP Codes in the Address Book, see “Registering Addresses and Users for
Facsimile/Scanner Functions”, Network and System Settings Reference.
To register SEP Codes in Keystroke Programs, see “Registering and Changing Keystroke
Programs”.
You can program one of the Quick Operation keys with operations for this function. Using the
Quick Operation Key allows you to omit steps 1, 2, and 4. For details about Quick Operation Key,
see “General Settings”.
