INFORMATION ON ADJUSTMENTS
5.1. ADJUSTING THE TAPING UNIT
Adjust the tension on the belt by means of the hand wheel (A):
– Loose roll holder for PVC;
– Roll holder with slight friction for PPL.
Adjust the tension on the clutch-controlled roller (B) by means of the
screw (C):
– Clutch released for PVC;
– Clutch slightly engaged for PPL.
Adjust the main spring:
– Load the spring less for light
boxes;
– load the spring more for sturdy
boxes.
