7.2. CORRECTING TAPING ERRORS
Below are a few errors that may occur during normal operation.
Problem
Ragged cut or no cut.
Remedy
Clean or replace the blade.
Important
With weak glue tapes it may be
necessary to increase the braking
effect on the roll holder roller and
the rst transmission roller.
Problem
Tape curls.
Remedy
Always - Upper unit: adjust the height
of the upper head (approximately 3
mm from the box)
Only if the error persists - Upper
and lower unit: adjust the eccentric
part (A) to change the position of
the roller (B) (approximately 2 mm
underneath the slide surface of the
box, see gure)
