Use I/O Modules with CompactLogix 5370 L1 Controllers Chapter 7
To remove a wire from the removable connector, complete these steps.
1. Verify that the control system is not powered.
2. Use a small screwdriver to push the spring release clip and pull out the
wire.
Remove and Replace and I/O Module Connector
Complete these steps to remove and replace and I/O module connector.
1. Verify that the control system is not powered.
2. Use a small screwdriver to loosen the screws that secure the connector to
the module.
3. Pull the connector out from the I/O module to remove it.
4. Disconnect any wires from the connector.
5. Connect any wires to the replacement connector.
6. Push the replacement connector back into the I/O module.
7. Secure the connector to the I/O module with the small screwdriver.
