Replacement Considerations
The CompactLogix™ L1 Series B controller is a direct replacement for the
Series A controller. The Series B controller has an improved power supply
circuit to the isolated power supply so that a second power supply is no longer
needed.
The Series A controller requires two power supplies:
One to supply the controller power (VDC)
One to supply the field power (FP)
