Replacing a Cooling Fan Assembly

Perform the following steps:
1.
Press the fan release tab and lift the cooling fan out of the cooling fan
assembly.
2. Align the connector at the base of the cooling fan with the connector on
the system board.
3. Slide the new cooling fan into the securing slot until the tab locks into
place.
4. If applicable, install the system into the rack.
5. Install the system cover as described in chapter “Installing the System
Cover” on page 154.
