Configuring VENICE S Services
To use one of the mentioned methods on a R&S VENICE S with you have to
activate the respective function in the R&S
®
Device Manager. For more infor-
mation about the different web services, VDCP as well as how to integrate
and control R&S VENICE S by third-party software see the Software Integra-

Activating and Launching VDCP
Perform the following steps:
1.
Open the R&S
®
Device Manager on your local system. To get access to
the R&S
®
Device Manager you have to enter the previously determined
IP address and the port 3000 in a standard browser.
2. Select the VENICE MEDIA SERVER tab.
The running mode will be indicated in the respective tile in the system
view.
3. Select the respective system.
