Introduction
Relationship Between the 4:2:2 Process Format and the Number of Selectable Compositions in Each M/E Mode
The number of compositions that can use self keys and external keys, the number of AUX buses diers depending on the combination of the selected
4:2:2 process format (p. 40) and the 4:2:2 M/E mode. Refer to the following table for the combinations and numbers.

* When using an external key, two video sources (“KEY” and “FILL”) are used in a single composition.
Output from the 4:2:2 Process
Video processed by the 4:2:2 process is output to SDI OUT 1 through 6 or the 4:4:4 process in the same format as the 4:2:2 process format.
For example, when 1080i has been specied as the 4:2:2 process format, the output video format is also 1080i.
To select the output destination, you use “PATCHBAY 1 Screen” (p. 47) or “PATCHBAY 2 Screen” (p. 48).
