Using User Functions
You can assign various functions of the V-1200HD to a user channel, save them, and call them up for use when needed (user functions). You can
assign up to 16 user channels each to user settings 1 and 2.

5 Only the user functions let you carry out output control for control signals output from the TALLY/GPIO connector.
To output a control signal, the “GPO/TALLY Screen” (p. 76) must be used to assign the function.
Saving a User Function
1. Go to the ROOT MENU screen and tap <USER 1> or <USER 2> to display the USER screen.
2. Tap the user channel to which you want to assign the function, making the SELECT screen appear.
3. At the SELECT screen, tap the function to assign it to the user channel.
For details on functions you can assign to user channels, refer to “USER Screen” (p. 65).
Accessing a User Function
This calls up the user function assigned to user setting 1 or 2.
1. Press the USER [1] or [USER [2] button to select the user setting (1 or 2) where the user function you want to access is saved.
The cross point display changes to the user channel, and the [AUX] buttons function as buttons for accessing the user channels.
2. Press the [AUX] button for the user channel you want to access, calling up the user function.
The [AUX] button lights up briey, and the user function is called up. If a function that is switched on and o (FREEZE, for example) has been assigned
to the user channel, the [AUX] button lights up when the function is on.
