Hone Head Maintenance
This procedure should be performed every 40 hours of machine operation or weekly, which ever comes
rst.
1. Remove cone rod (1) from body (3) and clean threads. Lubricate threads with high pressure grease.
2. Check rubber bumper (2) for damage. Replace if damaged.
3. Clean hone head body.(3)
4. Lubricate 4 pivot screws (4) with motor oil.
5. Lubricate feed nut universal (5) with motor oil.
6. Replace cone rod (1) and rubber bumper (2) into hone head body.(3)
