To Save Reports
1. Insert the USB memory in the register’s USB port.
2. Move to the SERVICE MODE.
3. From the Service Mode menu, select “7.PROGRAM BACKUP”.
4. From the PROGRAM menu, select “2.USB”.
5. From the USB menu select “3.REPORT SAVE”.
6. The register will display confirmation of the successful restore with the message
“SUCCESS !”. If the save is unsuccessful, the register will print out an error
message.
Load/Save Receipt Images
You can load a preamble and postamble image for your receipt. Before loading, the images
must be converted by the PC Utility to .img format. After conversion, they can be loaded
directly by connecting a PC to the ER-230EJ or by copying the images to a USB memory
and loading (or saving the image) using the USB utility program described here.
Note that after loading the images, you must set “LOGO (Print preamble image /
Print postamble image)” of the “Options Programming” in the “Program Mode ” to
activate the image printing.
