▐ Electromagnetic Environment – Guidance
It is recommended to use ultrasound systems in shielded locations offering RF shielding
effectiveness, with shielded cables. Field strengths outside the location shielded from fixed
RF transmitters, as determined by an electromagnetic site survey, should be less than 3V/m.
It is essential that the actual shielding effectiveness and filter attenuation of the shielded
location be verified to assure that they meet the minimum specification.
CAUTION
If the system is connected to other customer-supplied equipment, such as
a local area network (LAN) or a remote printer, Samsung Medison cannot
guarantee that the remote equipment will work correctly in the presence of
electromagnetic phenomena.
