▐Precautions on Ramps
Always make sure that the control panel is facing the direction of movement.
WARNING
Be aware of the castors, especially when moving the system. Samsung
Medison recommends that you exercise caution when moving the product
up or down ramps.
When moving the product down a ramp or resting it temporarily on a ramp, the product may
tilt over even with the brakes on depending on the direction the product is facing. Do not
leave the product on ramps.
Safety Notes
CAUTION
■ Do not press the control panel excessively.
■ Never attempt to modify the product in any way.
■ Check the operational safety when using the product after a prolonged
break in service.
■ Make sure that other objects, such as pieces of metal, do not enter the
system.
■ Do not block the ventilation slots.
■ Do not pull on the power cord to unplug it. Doing so can damage the
cord and cause short-circuiting and cord snapping. Always unplug by
pulling on the plug itself.
■ Excessive bending or twisting of cables, or parts that are applied to the
patient, may cause failure or intermittent operation of the system.
■ Improper cleaning or sterilization of parts that are applied to the patient
may cause permanent damage.
■ Servicing the product, including repairs and the replacement of parts,
must be done by qualified Samsung Medison service personnel.
Assuming that the product is used in accordance with the guidelines
contained in this manual and maintained by qualified service personnel,
the expected service life of the product is approximately 7 years.
