9-10 Power Supply Checks
CL608 & CL612
Serial #8199999 and below
STEP PROCEDURE
1. Remove (3) screws holding the left side cover to the printer. Raise the
access door and loosen the (2) screws on the inside top of the printer.
Lift off the left side cover to expose the main PCB. Refer to Section 4-2.
2. On the main circuit board attach the Digital Multimeter negative lead to
the test point labeled CH1 (Ground) on the main circuit board. Attach the
multimeter positive lead to the corresponding voltage test point and
place the power switch in the ON position. Refer to table below and
Fig.9-35 , 9-36, 9-37 & 9-38.
3. After performing tests, replace the left side cover.
To check voltage levels, first check the main fuse(s) (Section 9.4 and
replace if necessary, then perform the following steps.
NOTE: The Power Supply Assembly is a non-repairable or adjustable
item. If voltages are not within specification it must be replaced.
NOTE: The power supply voltages are not adjustable. All voltages
must read within +/- 10% of the nominal value for correct operation of
the printer.
WARNING: Be careful to avoid shot circuiting the test points. This
will damage the PCB and the power supply and may void the
guarantee.
