9-6 Installing the Memory Board

STEP PROCEDURE
1. Refer to Section 9-3 and detach the main circuit board.
2. Attach and secure (4) standoffs to the backside of the board with four
screws on the reverse side of the board. Fig. 9-7
3. Connect the memory board to the main circuit board at the connector
marked CN1 on the memory board. Note the indexing marks on the
mating connectors. Fig. 9-8
4. Secure the memory board to the standoffs on the main circuit board
using (4) screws. Fig. 9-8
5. To install memory, insert one or two memory modules of the desired
capacity into the memory module stots. Fig. 9-9
6. Reinstall the main circuit board with the memory board attached, to the
printer using screws removed in Step 1. Reattach cables.
7. Replace the left side cover and reconnect the power cable.
