1-6 Switches and Sensors
RIBBON SENSOR: The sensor will
react to the ribbon unwind when
approximately 45 feet of ribbon remains.
This sensor is a motion detector that
signals the printer when the ribbon
supply is turning. This sensor is used for
both the ribbon end and ribbon near end
sensing.
HEAD LATCH LEVER: When the
print head is opened, a micro
switch is activated and the printer
will stop printing. Error message
will be displayed on the LCD
operator panel.
