Piston motor malfunction

 Defect in cabling or in piston motor
 Direction of rotation is incorrect: flat plug
on motor transposed
 carry out a check (the plugs have differ-
ent dimensions!) (see “control system

Position switch  Micro switch for initial setting defective
(message on display “motor current”)
 Check the function and setting of the
position switch (see Maintenance, re-
place/set micro switch” and “control sys-
tem diagram, limit switch for brewing unit
initial setting)
Programming
 Compaction current (compaction pres-
sure) programmed too high
 Correct the programming (see pro-
gramming instructions)
