These push button switches start
and stop the spindle.
(It is necessary to specify a spindle
speed in advance.)
These are used for selecting
operation modes: FEED, and
ZERO RETURN.
FEED... This mode enables a
manual continuous feed. A feed axis
and its direction are selected by the
axis move push button switches [6],
and a feed rate by the FEEDRATE
[19] switches. Rapid traverse is
available by the rapid traverse
button.
RAPID... This mode enables a rapid
traverse. A rapid traverse axis and
its direction are selected by the push
button switches [6] and a rapid
traverse rate (override) by the
RAPID OVERRIDE push button
switches [17].
ZERO RETURN... This mode
enables zero return. For an axis to
be returned to the zero point, select
with the push button switches [6].
For a feed rate, an override of 25%
is applied.
When zero return is completed,
green lamp at [6] is lighted up, from
the blinking state.
START... IN the AUTO or MDI mode,
this push button switch start the
program. While this push button
switch is pressed and the program is
running, a lamp located above lights
up.
