5.3.5 Ethernet connection
The digital communications terminals are separated from the
analyser mains circuits by reinforced insulation. The terminals
must only be connected to circuits that are themselves separated
from mains voltage by at least reinforced insulation.
To comply with EMC requirements, the cable connected to the Ethernet
output terminal shall not be longer than 30 m, nor shall it leave the
building in which the analyser is installed without suitable isolation.
Connect the cable to the terminal shown in Figure 1.
Section 2.9 provides information on the rating and size of cable.
