APPENDIX
A 4 MILLIAMP (mA) ANALOG OUTPUT
The milliamp (mA) output is used to monitor the reading of the SERVOPRO FID.
The range of this output is from 4 mA to 20 mA. 4 mA always represents 0 ppm
and 20 mA represents the highest value of the range in use. Consequently, if the
range in use is 0 10 ppm, 20 mA will represent 10 ppm. If the range in use is 0
100 ppm, 20 mA will represent 100 ppm and so on.
When monitoring the milliamp (mA) output, it is important to monitor the range
in use using the digital output relays. If it is not possible to monitor the range in
use, it is recommended to lock the range in use (see Section 4.10.1.4).
Use a differential input to monitor 4-20 mA output on your data acquisition
system.
