9.1 Approvals
9.1.1 Conformity
The technical design of this device complies with the following EU
directives and EN standards:
● EU Directive NSP 2006/95/EC
● EU Directive EMC 2004/108/EC
Applied EN standards:
● EN 61010-1, Safety requirements for electrical equipment for measurement, control
and laboratory use
● EN 61326, Electrical equipment for measuring technology, control and laboratory use -
EMC requirements
9.1.2 Electrical protection
● Insulation: Protection class 1 according to EN 61010-1.
● Insulation coordination: Measuring category II according to EN61010-1.
● Contamination: The device operates safely in an environment up to degree of contami-
nation 2 according to EN 61010-1 (usual, nonconductive contamination and temporary
conductivity by occasional moisture condensation).
